Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your name. If you're a landlord, we store the properties and leases you add, including tenant email addresses, monthly rent, due dates, and running balances. If you're a tenant, we store your own lease and rent balance — never anyone else's.

When rent is paid through Rent Keeper, we store a record of the payment: amount, date, method (card, bank, or crypto), and status. We do not store your card number or crypto wallet details — those are handled directly by our payment processors, described below.

Who we share it with

Your data is stored with Supabase, our database provider. Payments are processed either through Stripe (card and bank payments) or Coinbase Commerce (crypto payments) — in both cases, money is paid directly into the landlord's own Stripe or Coinbase account, not held by Rent Keeper. We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or delete your account at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and, if you're a landlord, the properties, leases, and payment history tied to it — this can be done directly from your dashboard's "Danger zone" section, or by emailing us at the address below.
